Been a crazy week over here at GameStrata! About time we got you caught up on some of the happenings around the community and whats been shaking for last week.

Clan Launch:

First off, we fired out some sweet updates with clan/group support last week. If you haven’t checked ‘em out, fire off over to the clan section of GameStrata and find some fellow gamers to game it up with. A few features you should also check out: custom skins for select games (list below), custom clan graphs for supported games (BF2, GH3, The Club), custom leaderboards for supported games and custom news feeds for each clan (pulls in supported game events + xbox live achievements for 360 games).

Game Informer Magazine Mention: GameStrata Article

Next up, we wanted to give a shout out to our recent article in Game Infomer magazine! If you haven’t seen it yet, please go check it out (should hit newstands this week). We have seen a ton of traffic over the last week from the early release of the magazine. In fact, we had our largest day of traffic EVER yesterday! We want to give a shout out to all the new users who have joined over the last week - we hope you guys (and girls) are enjoying the site and inviting some friends. We have always had a great vibe on GameStrata and we hope to keep it going for everyone. The community is a HUGE part of GameStrata. We build the tools to let you guys do your thing - so if you want to flame, flame at one of those other sites!

- Also, for all the new users, keep an eye out for some updated information within the GameStrata forums and FAQs regarding site usage, best practices, how to earn more GamerQ and the like.

Additional Site Updates:

The team rolled out a bunch of updates this week that we wanted to keep you updated on:

• New MyStrata dropdown in the header for quick navigation
• Report abuse link for GameStrata Answers (report bad Questions)
• Added Thumbs Up/Down for GameStrata Answers
• Ability to send friend requests to existing GS members from the Invite page (w/ ajaxy sweetness)
• Personal invite URL is now on the invite page

Glad to see all the new users! Looking forward to seeing more and more users interacting on the site. Also, don’t forget about the GameStrata GameNights - they usually go down on Friday nights right now. If you are an active community member and you want to start organizing some GameStrata GameNights, hit us up or hit up the forums. We’d love to add more events for everyone to get together.
